SEVEN DOWN..WHO'S NEXT?...

“I want to see him fight Mayweather,” Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach said. So early today I had a chance to watch Pacquiao vs Cotto live at Dencio’s Restaurant (Harbour Square) thaith my family thanks to my sister for the tickets, anyways, I was really excited when Packman (Manny Pacquiao) entered the ring the whole crowd in the resto were screaming and cheering for Pacquiao. Pacquiao knocked Cotto down once in the third round and again in the fourth, pummeled him repeatedly and easily lifted the World Boxing Organization welterweight belt from the Puerto Rican with a 12th-round stoppage. The time was 55 seconds into the final round, as referee Kenny Bayless leaped between the fighters to save Cotto a more savage beating and ignominious end. Cotto came out strong and landed some hard punches, but Cotto couldn’t deal with the speed. After the knockdown in the fourth, Cotto’s offense was nonexistent as he spent most of the last two thirds of the fight fending off Pacquiao’s onslaught. I must say Cotto is also a good fighter he’s very strong but still no one can defeat the Pound per Pound Champion. Anyways the crowd is very much into the fight I too, was screaming and standing every time Pacquiao landed a shot in Cotto. I was amazed by Pacquiao’s strength, it was a good fight and I can’t wait for Pacquiao’s next fight. The whole country (the Philippines) is very Proud of Manny Pacquiao! I’m Proud to be Pinoy!

THIS IS IT...

Love is important we’re all one. Thriller, Billy Jean, Bad and Man in the Mirror, these songs are some of the worlds most known songs that made us sing along imitate and most of all the songs that made us dance. I just seen MJ’s: This Is It. Michael Jackson, what does this name mean to us, I mean come on for me who’s not yet alive when MJ (as he was called by the most people) was at the peak of his career I don’t have that much idea about him. Though I must admit I knew him since I can remember he’s one person who’s been an “icon” and an “inspiration” to most of the people especially to those who’s into music. Growing up I was curious about his life and his looks in particular, because I remember in his music videos he was a black African American or so I think, anyways, I was surprised when MJ went from ‘black’ to ‘white’ I mean this was very much obvious, MJ’s transition came very fast for me, last thing I know he had several or tons of surgical procedures in his face and body; Anyways enough of that physical changes that he had. I made this article because I was so inspired by him; I just saw the movie I tagged along to my parents to see his documentary. For most that had the privileged to work with the ‘King of Pop’ that experience was unconditional and irreplaceable, most of the people who worked with MJ described him as a person who is very passionate about his craft, he’s very loving and he treated everyone as his family. Those traits were shown in the documentary he’s rehearsal was remarkable. MJ is really an icon of the music industry as well as an inspiration to everyone, I thing I noticed about the documentary was that MJ knows want he wanted he’s very much hands-on and that he exerts much effort in everything he do, he’s also very considerate about his co-workers he even had his band the time to shine and that he always say ‘God Bless You’ or ‘I love you’ to everyone. Most of the song that I knew was seen in the documentary, I was actually surprised and glad that the last song played in the documentary was my favorite song of MJ which is the Man in the Mirror. I very much enjoyed the film that I found myself nodding my head to his songs. I can’t help but feel sad that his rehearsal will never be set on stage. We loss an icon ‘The King of Pop’ but his music will surely not be forgotten. I can’t help but give him applause after the film, he deserves it. I was so glad that I’ve seen his film. And I think I’ll be a forever fan of the King of Pop.

SECOND SEM...

Today is the first day of second semester, well I did go to school though I had a feeling that profs will not show up. Anyways, I had a back up plan. I asked my friends to watch movie instead and so we did. Some of my friends are not my classmates anymore but we have the same schedule, we decided to leave early, eat lunch and headed to the movie house. While we were inside the movie house my friends’ classmate texted them that their prof showed up, well they don’t seem to be bothered about that (hahah). Anyways, so we just enjoyed the movie, oh I forgot to tell the movie was ‘500 Days of Summer’ I actually enjoyed this movie and so did my friends Iana and Les. Anyways, we got home after we watched the movie because my friends have a 7am class tomorrow. As for me, tomorrow is a rest day for me. Anyways, till here.
