After a long week, I finally got to see Transformers and the Revenge of the Fallen. I did see the first installment but that time I’m not into the movie so I didn’t give much attention to the movie. I just got home, I’m supposed to have my Laboratory today but due to some meetings we didn’t had a class today which is so frustrating, because our class is 8am so I woke up early and went to school just to find out that we don’t have classes. So anyways, it’s too early to get home so my friend Jen and I decided to just hang out in the mall. We ate lunch there, window shopping and drop by to my favorite book store. I’ve wanted to see transformers, so I asked her if she wants to watch and she does.
I thought that the movie is great; the effects were very much convincing and creative. And the story was very artistic. I found myself crying in certain scenes. There are a lot of big battles where lots of stuff blows up and sometimes it’s hard to tell which robot is which, but its pretty exciting stuff, regardless. There are lots of new robots in this movie to love, but my favorite was definitely Bumblebee. He’s hilarious; though he can’t speak my favorite part was when he messes up with Sam’s new ‘admirer’ when they’re in the car. That was so funny.
Anyways, The Fallen is an old man robot with a French accent that, because he had fallen at some point, is forced to use a cane. Throughout the movie, all of the robots kept calling him The Fallen, (like, ‘We must find The Fallen’ or ‘Where is The Fallen?’) and this really upset me because I thought it was really disrespectful. In my opinion, old people have names and shouldn’t be defined by their injuries or ailments. I love my grandparents and so I would never ever refer to them as The Osteoporosis and The Broken Hip.
Anyways, I though that the movie was great even better than the first one. The action scenes were spectacular, and I love the movie. I thought that the movie was close to perfect. And I can’t wait for the next Transformers!

Well basically, the action scenes are really spektacular. Amazing indeed, with lots of massive visual effects. I am sorry to say, but the worst thing about the movie: it takes $200 million budget and a 2.6 hour running time, still not a single memorable and impressive fun thing happens.
ReplyDeleteBut its ok. Hope the third one goes best.
